The last Saturday morning of the campaign was spent in Whitchurch, meeting and greeting passers-by, and handing out balloons. "In addition to the people we met, hundres saw the team at the Junction of the B3400 and the Newbury Rd. With Bill Judge contesting the District Council seat, Whitchurch is an important political barometer, with the elections here closely contested.
After 90 minutes work, the team repaired to the White Hart for lunch
