Most of my campaigning is in North West Hampshire, but there are occasional excursions to marginal seats in other parts of the country. The Shadow Cabinet are being deployed strategically.
And so by train to Llandudno via Warrington, to help Guto Bebb win Aberconwy. The seafront in Llandudno is in good shape, thanks to the benevolent influence of the Mostyn family who own the freeholds and insist on high standards. The hotels I saw, such as the Ambassador, were excellent and I went up in the cable car to get a good view of the town.
Then off to Rhyl, to meet the hawks. They deter the seagulls from attacking visitors and our candidate Matt Wright introduced to a number of the traders in the town.
Then back to London to do the Today Programme the next morning
