Sir George formally opened "Design Devils", a project run by Andover Community Education Group.
Pam Diamond, who has taken this initiative forward, introduced Sir George, and then presented him with a portrait done by Andrew Branch, who works from 80a High Street "On display was a remarkable amount of talented work, from vases to pillows to mouse mats to mugs. I commend the work of Pam Diamond and her colleagues in getting this enterprise off the ground, which will bring out the talents of young people, by giving them training and encouragement."
